Our Programms

BTS (Back to School Projects)

The “Back to School” projectby CED Foundation is an initiative focused on ensuring that children have access to quality education and a smooth transition back into the school environment. The “Back to School” project aims to address barriers to education and support children in resuming their studies. We recognize the need to provideeducational materials and supplies to children and young people going back to school.

Ranging from books, stationaries, school bags, and other learning materials to ensure that children have the tools they need to fully engage in their studies.

We recognize the importance of well-trained and supported teachers in creating a conducive learning environment. We provide training and professional development opportunities for teachers to enhance their skills, particularly in dealing with the specific needs of children who are returning to school after a disruption. We also offer support and resources to teachers to help them address any gaps in learning that may have occurred during the children’s absence.

The organization places importance on monitoring and evaluating the impact of the “Back to School” projects. We collect data, conduct assessments, and gather feedback to measure the effectiveness of our interventions and make necessary adjustments to ensure the project’s success.

We believe that education is a powerful tool for empowering children and breaking the cycle of poverty, and we strive to ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn and thrive.

ASTEM (Agriculture, Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics)

The integration of Agriculture, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (ASTEM) is a crucial approach to sustainable development and addressing global challenges in the agricultural sector. CED Foundation acknowledges the potential of ASTEM to revolutionize agricultural practices, enhance productivity, promote food security, and empower farming communities. Through ASTEM, we would engage in these measures to drive home success;

Agricultural Innovation – promote the integration of science, technology, and engineering in agriculture to drive innovation. promote the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs), data analytics, and artificial intelligence to improve agricultural decision-making, optimize resource management, and enable precision agriculture.

Capacity Building – prioritize capacity building among farmers, agricultural workers, and local communities in STEM-related skills and knowledge. We would equip individuals with the necessary scientific and technical skills to adopt and utilize advanced agricultural technologies through training programs, workshops, and mentoring.

CED advocates for sustainable agricultural practices that prioritize environmental conservation and resilience. The organization promotes the integration of STEM approaches in agroecology, organic farming, soil conservation, water management, and climate-smart agriculture.

Partnerships and Advocacy– partnerships and advocacy efforts to promote the integration of STEM in agriculture. We collaborate with governmental bodies, research institutions, private sector entities, and other NGOs to advocate for policies that support the adoption and integration of STEM in agricultural practices. We participate in global forums, conferences, and networks to share best practices, exchange knowledge, and contribute to the global discourse on sustainable agriculture and STEM integration.

All of these conscious efforts by CED would transform the agricultural sector, improve livelihoods, and contribute to sustainable development. We believe that by harnessing the potential of STEM in agriculture, we can address food security, environmental sustainability, and rural development challenges, ultimately creating a more resilient and prosperous future for farming communities.
